Hi,welcome to CCAN! Inspiring youths for positive change!
The Community Change Actors Network is a new revolution in rural communities! A network of youths who have graduated as Development Knowledge Facilitators and equipped to become Community Change Actors in their various communities!CCAN was inaugurated on the 25th of April 2007 during the step down extension training as part of the DEBATE TO ACTION PROJECT! We are geared towards building the capacity of youths to:
Commit time and enegry for social Transformation in their communities,
Collaborate and network for Positive change,
Advocate for change through the application of best practice participatory approaches!
Negotiate their rights in a peaceful and co-ordinated manner for the achievement of the MDGs and sustainable development!
The project is targetted at youths across the world,who have been made vulnerable to conflicts,crises,abuse,deprivation etc and want CHAGE by starting to be change themselves!!
